Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 30, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of travelU, a travel-booking platform operated by Simplicity. Please read them carefully — by creating an account or making a booking you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the service. When you book on behalf of others, you confirm you are authorised to do so and that you have shared these terms with them.

2. Our role

travelU is an intermediary. We let you search for and book travel products — stays, experiences and attractions, travel insurance, transfers, and connectivity — that are provided and operated by independent third-party suppliers. Your booking creates a contract between you and the relevant supplier, and that supplier's own terms apply alongside these. We are not the provider of the underlying travel service and are not responsible for its performance.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at the contact below if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Bookings, prices, and payment

Prices and availability are shown in real time and can change until a booking is confirmed. We make every effort to display accurate information, but obvious errors do not bind us. A booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation from us; payment is taken at the time of booking unless stated otherwise. Taxes, fees, and currency conversions may apply and are shown before you pay.

5. Cancellations, changes, and refunds

Cancellation, change, and refund rules are set by the supplier of each product and are shown to you before you book. Some bookings are non-refundable. Where a refund is due, it is processed according to the supplier's policy and may take time to reach you. If we make a mistake on our end — a booking error or a charge that should not have happened — we will put it right.

6. Travel documents and responsibilities

You are responsible for holding valid travel documents — passports, visas, permits — and for meeting health, entry, and insurance requirements for your trip. We are not liable for losses arising from missing or invalid documents or from failing to meet a destination's requirements.

7. Acceptable use

When using the service you agree not to:

  • Use it for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
  • Make speculative, false, or fraudulent bookings.
  • Interfere with the service, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or scrape it without permission.
  • Infringe the intellectual-property or other rights of anyone.

8. Intellectual property

The service, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Simplicity or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use it only for personal, non-commercial purposes related to your own travel. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of it without our permission.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that supplier content is always accurate or complete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties relating to the service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Simplicity is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for the acts, omissions, or default of third-party suppliers. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount of the fees we earned on the booking concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Simplicity against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Simplicity's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Where required, you retain the protection of mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute directly.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
